Another paper was accepted. The biggest debate on the relationship between the built environment and travel behavior is the residential self-selection hypothesis raised as early as the mid-1990s. The following study examined whether this hypothesis is correct, or since medical studies have specified the built environment–travel relationship according to the socio-ecological model, what is valid between the two competing explanations.
