융복합계획연구실(IPL) 소개
서울대학교 환경대학원은 1973년 설립 당시부터 도시계획 및 설계, 교통, 환경 등 다양한 학문영역의 통합을 추구하고 이를 교과과정에 반영함으로써 융복합 연구 및 교육의 발달에 선구적 역할을 담당해 왔습니다. 융복합계획연구실(환경대학원 융복합연구실)은 이러한 기치를 내걸고 환경대학원의 임무를 지속, 발전시키고자 환경계획학과 내에서 전통적으로 다뤄온 연구영역들을 아우르고 이를 넘나드는 주제를 탐색, 발전, 심화시키는 데에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 이에 재학생은 현재 소속(도시 및 지역계획, 교통학, 환경관리, 도시·사회혁신의 네 개 전공으로 구성)과 무관하게 본 연구실에 참여, 지도를 받을 수 있습니다.

Integrated Planning Lab (IPL)
Since its establishment in 1973, the Graduate School of Environmental Studies (GSES) at Seoul National University (SNU) has aimed to integrate various fields of study, such as urban planning and design, transportation studies, and environmental studies, and reflected this aim in its curriculum, and accordingly, GSES is widely considered a leader for integrated research and learning. In particular, SNU Integrated Planning Lab (IPL) focuses on exploring and analyzing topics that require an integration and interaction of multiple majors in the Department of Environmental Planning at GSES; it has three majors including Urban and Regional Planning, Transportation Studies, Environmental Management, and Urban and Social Innovation. As such, IPL welcomes students regardless of their current major in the Department.
