Jinghong’s main research interest is applying AI-driven urban analytics to understand and enhance social wellbeing in cities. She is also focused on the critical issues of spatial inequality and inclusive planning. Furthermore, her research delves into environmental justice and adaptation, examining how planning can address the unequal distribution of environmental risks and promote equitable resilience.
She completed her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). She then pursued a Master of Urban Planning at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to her PhD, she gained practical experience through internships at the Xiongan Green Development Research Institute and the Shenzhen Urban Planning and Land Resource Research Center.
