Integrated Planning Lab aims to cultivate multidisciplinary experts who align with the talent standards of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies after graduation, taking an integrative approach to major fields such as urban and regional planning, transportation studies, and environmental management.

Current members have a wide range of research interests, including real estate, international development, community development, environmental policy, sustainability, disaster management, urban climate, and industrial location. In particular, the core themes emphasized in the lab include health, leisure-tourism-mobility, climate change, and big data research and data analysis required in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
